General Academy Information

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines elements of ballet, dance, and gymnastics. Gymnasts perform routines to music while using apparatus such as rope, hoop, ball, clubs, or ribbon. The sport develops flexibility, coordination, strength, and artistic expression.

Yes. Rhythmic gymnastics at our academy is exclusively for girls. Boys are welcome to join other sports programs offered by Star Sport Academies such as football, basketball, and badminton.

Girls can typically begin rhythmic gymnastics training from 4 years old, focusing on flexibility, coordination, balance, and basic movement skills.

Parents can support their child by encouraging effort rather than perfection, celebrating progress, and trusting the coaches to guide the gymnast safely through new challenges.

We maintain a low coach-to-gymnast ratio to ensure every gymnast receives proper supervision and personalized attention during training.

Most children begin to show improvements in flexibility, strength, coordination, and confidence within the first few months of consistent training.

Yes. While recreational programs focus on fun and fitness, talented gymnasts may progress to competitive squads with more advanced training and competition opportunities.

Gymnasts are grouped based on age and skill level to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.

Yes. We offer a flexible make-up class policy when parents notify the academy in advance.

Safety is our top priority. All sessions follow structured training plans, and coaches are trained in proper spotting techniques.

Yes. At least one staff member present during each session is trained in CPR and first aid, and a first-aid kit is always available.

Each gymnast receives her first training uniform upon registration. Additional uniforms can be purchased if needed.

Additional costs may include competition fees, competition leotards, or optional items. All extra costs are communicated clearly beforehand.

Recreational classes typically last 60 minutes, while advanced or competitive training sessions may last 2–3 hours.

Yes. We offer both weekday and weekend classes to accommodate different family schedules.

Yes. Coaches regularly assess progress and may recommend moving a gymnast to a different group if needed.

Payment & Policies

Currently we offer group classes only for rhythmic gymnastics. Group training helps gymnasts develop teamwork, coordination, and performance skills.

We currently do not offer sibling discounts, but we provide a reward points program where families earn points that can be used for future renewals, uniforms, or events.

We currently do not accept Tabby. However, longer programs offer two-installment payment options.

Payments can be made securely online or in cash, although Apple Pay is not currently available.

Yes. Classes are available at GEMS Al Khaleej International School Al Warqa.

Yes. Families living in Remraam can attend classes at South View School Remraam.

Yes. Our Al Warqa location at GEMS Al Khaleej International School is easily accessible for families living in Mirdif and Mizhar.
